
Education:
Marann received her degree from the University of Connecticut in 1973. She has been practicing since 1975 in a variety of settings including acute hospital, SNF, homecare, Education, community college, and out-patient clinic.
She has experience in orthopedics, geriatrics, neuro-rehab and general practice.
Reason for entering the field:
Her reason for becoming a Physical Therapist was her desire to learn how people can recover from life altering disabilities (i.e. CVA, brain injury). Her grandmother inspired her following her CVA when she was a teenager. The most rewarding thing for her as a PT is teaching patients what it takes to recover from injury, surgery etc. and developing a plan of care to improve their health and wellness and quality of life.

Enjoys the great outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family.

Education:
Linda received her undergraduate degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 1990. She has been a practicing PT since 1992 specializing in core stabilization training.
Reason for entering the field:
Linda became a Physical Therapist because of her interest in the medical field. She takes great pride in working with patients and seeing them progress. She is also a certified Pilates Instructor which comes in handy as many Pilates principles are frequently incorporated into Physical Therapy treatments.
Other interests:
Linda participates in biking, walking, weight training, Pilates, bible study, theology and is a mom of two.

Education:
Steve received his degree from Northeastern University in 1994. He has been practicing since 1996 and is board certified in orthopedics.
Reason for entering the field:
His enjoyment of sports and science led him to become a PT and what he likes most about being a PT is the success the patient is almost tangible as they increase in function and feel better.

Education:
Lisanne received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac
University in January of 2004. She has been a practicing PT at Lepre since
May of 2004.
Reason for entering the field:
She became a Physical Therapist because of her interest in the human body
and how it works. Lisanne enjoys the challenge of problem solving to find
the causes of injury and how to recover. She also enjoys exercise and
helping people to live without pain and witnessing the happiness they
exhibit once they have relief.
Other interests:
Lisanne mostly enjoys spending time with family and friends. She
participates in softball and bowling leagues. Lisanne has a love for music
and sports as well as outdoor activities. She is an avid New England
sports fan and a die hard Red Sox fan.

Karen graduated from Northeastern University in 1986 with a degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked in a variety of settings including- acute care, homecare, pediatrics and outpatient.
Other interests
Karen loves staying active and can be found playing golf, skiing, gardening, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time. She is also a high school field hockey coach, so come by a game or two and cheer her on!

Tom received his graduate degree in Physical Therapy from URI in January of 2000. He has been a practicing PT for the past seven years specializing in orthopedic injuries and associated manual techniques.
Reason for entering the field:
He became a Physical Therapist because of his interest in active, health related fields. He was injured earlier in life and got to
experience the field working with people and seeing patients progress. He is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

He participates in local adult sport leagues and assists with local youth select soccer team as conditioning coach.

Andrea received her degree from Sacred Heart University in 2002 and is currently enrolled in manual therapy certification through Manual Therapy Institute with an expected completion date of spring 2010. She has been practicing since 2002 and has spent her career working in outpatient orthopedics in private practice, workers comp, ergonomics, presentations for proper lifting mechanics as well as workplace assessments and recommendations.
Reason for entering the field:
Andrea has always enjoyed helping people in a hands on manner and patient education for all aspects of daily life. She enjoys returning individuals to activities they enjoy, function within the home or workplace and in general making a positive difference in someone's life.
Every day Andrea enjoys the variety of patients and diagnoses treated in outpatient orthopedics including feet!

Mario became interested in Physical Therapy as a career from exposure to the field while in high school and enjoys the one-on-one personal interactions with patients.

Shawn Brennan, MSPT, ATC, CSCS | Narragansett
Education:
Shawn received his graduate degree in Physical Therapy from URI in January
of 2000. He received his undergraduate degree in Athletic training from
Keene State College in 1992. He also has been certified as a Strength and
Conditioning Specialist since 1995. He specialties lie in sports and
orthopedic injuries and associated manual techniques.
Reason for entering the field:
Shawn became interested in physical therapy while working in New York as an
athletic trainer. "I was very impressed with their vast degree of
knowledge on all topics." He states he developed a desire to treat all age
groups, and not limit himself to sports injuries.
Other interests:
Shawn enjoys coaching his son's soccer and baseball teams, spending time
with family as a busy father of four, and general sports and fitness.
Debra Raymond | Narragansett

Lisa C. House, PT | Narragansett
Education:
Lisa received her Bachelor's degree from Northeastern University in 1990. She has been a practicing PT since 1991 and is a pediatrics specialist. Lisa's continuing education focus has been on both adult and pediatric neurology. Her post-graduate work at Boston University focused on pediatric development.
Reason for entering the field:
Lisa became a Physical Therapist because she loves working with people and helping them improve their lives. She also enjoys the interaction with patients and teaching them exercises and programs that will improve their function and help them reach their goals. Lisa especially loves working closely with children and their families to help them reach their developmental goals.

Brian received his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from Sacred Heart University in May of 2000. He also received a Master of Science and Physical Therapy from Sacred Heart University in May of 2003. His specialty is Sports Medicine/Injuries and Post Operative Rehabilitation.
Brian has also received his CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) certification in 2004 and has been doing sport specific training for high school and college athletes.
Reason for entering the field:
Having various injuries from sports, Brian wanted to learn why he got hurt and to fix the injuries. Because of that he observed at a local clinic in high school and became very interested in the Physical Therapy field.

Enjoys sports, exercising and following the Yankees and Giants.

Education:
Josh received his masters degree in Physical Therapy from University of New England in 2001. He has been a practicing PT since 2003 and specializes in Outpatient Orthopedics.
Reason for entering the field:
As a teenager, he spent a lot of time in physical therapy as a teenager from various sports injuries and found it interesting. Josh enjoys assisting in the improvement of the quality of life in his patients on a daily basis.

Expect to find Joshua hiking, traveling, and kayaking in his free time and spending time with his family.

Education:
Lauren received her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from University of Rhode Island in May of 2007 and has been with Lepre Physical Therapy specializing in Outpatient Orthopedics since graduation.
Reason for entering the field:
Lauren became a Physical Therapist because she enjoys working with different people of all ages. She has always enjoyed athletics and working on a physical level with people. She's also interested in health and well being of patients. Lauren gets the most gratification in having the ability to rehabilitate someone to a point where they can return to a sport or activity that they haven't been able to do because of their injury.
Other interests:
Enjoys playing soccer, attending concerts and road trips.

Education:
Nicole received her masters degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in January of 2003. She has been a practicing PT since 2005 and specializes in Orthopedics.
Reason for entering the field:
Nicole's first experience with physical therapy was as a patient. Her experience in athletics and interest in the human body is what drove her to pursue physical therapy as a career. She enjoys the variety in patient diagnoses and the challenge that comes along with that.
Nicole also trained under the Institute of Physical Art with work experience on the medical staff of the World Gymnastics Championships. She was also a physical therapist for the Broadway production "Wicked" in Hollywood, CA. Nicole also played and coached collegiate softball at Quinnipiac University.
Other interests:
Enjoys playing piano, singing and playing golf.

Education:
Ross received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1981, majoring in Health Education / Adapted Physical Education, and completed his graduate work in Exercise Physiology in 1986. He has been a practicing PTA since 1984 (1989 with Lepre P.T.) and specializes in Soft Tissue Mobilization, Myofascial Release, and Neuromuscular Therapy, as well as Yoga–Based Relaxation, Breath and Movement Awareness, “the Mind/Body Connection.” He is a licensed PTA, a licensed massage therapist and a certified yoga instructor.
Reason for entering the field:
As a young athlete, several injuries and rehab sparked an interest. While at URI he did his student teaching with a school based physical therapist, and also spent time as an aide in a hospital based outpatient clinic. In graduate school, he discovered how he could integrate his knowledge and interest in the more “Wholistic/Alternative” therapies with that of Traditional Physical Therapy.
Over these many years of working in the PT clinic, Ross has also developed a private practice, LIFEWAVES Integrated Therapy (lifewavesRI.com), specializing in Therapeutic Massage, Bodywork, and Yoga. He now operates out of the North Providence and East Greenwich offices, as well as his own office in South Kingstown, RI.
He offers Lifewaves workshops and yoga classes in both clinical and non-clinical settings, and is an independent contractor with the Health & Wellness Institute / BCBS of RI for their corporate wellness programs.
He has also produced an instructional CD (2004), “Lifewaves Breath Awareness” a simple, practical approach to Relaxation & Stress Management.
Other interests:
Ross and his family live at the beach in South Kingstown. He has been an avid surfer for over 40 years, and continues to surf all year round. “Pura Vida!”

Joanne Marandola-Wilson |
North Providence
Education:
Joanne graduated from Newbury Junior College in 1982 from their Physical Therapy Assistant program. She began her employment at Lepre Physical Therapy in 1983 as a PTA working in the areas of homecare and pediatrics. Joanne returned to school in 1985, where she earned her B.S. in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut, graduating in May of 1987.
Joanne returned to work at Lepre Physical Therapy in June of 1987, where she has continued to focus her skills in the areas of pediatrics (Cranston School System ), and homecare.

Education:

Jo-Ann Harlow, PTA | Pediatrics
Education:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant student, Jo-Ann did her internship at Lepre
Physical Therapy. Steve was her clinical supervisor. She praises how it was his
instruction, leadership, guidance and inspiration that molded her into the Therapist
she is today.
Upon graduating from Becker College, Jo-Ann began her employment with Lepre Physical Therapy in 1984. She has had the grand experience to have worked in Nursing Homes, Group Homes, Home Care, Specialized schools for children with multiple handicaps, Public School systems and outpatient orthopedic clinics. Jo-Ann works in the North West School System Region, specifically, Foster-Glocester and Scituate towns.
Other Interests:
She has been a lifelong member of the American Physical Therapy Association, a
member of the RI chapter of the APTAs Board of Directors for numerous years serving
as the co- chair of the physical therapist assistant committee and also as RIs
National PTA representative, and is involved in a local advisory committee for
special education students.
